Biography

Dr. Narmin Ismayilova completed her dental education at Azerbaijan Medical University, Faculty of Dentistry, between 2005 and 2010. Continuing her professional and academic development internationally, she earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Greifswald, Germany, between 2012 and 2015.

Between 2018 and 2022 she completed her specialty training in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Akdeniz University, earning the title of Pediatric Dentist (Pedodontist). Her specialty thesis scientifically evaluated the effects of Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH) on children’s oral health and quality of life.

In 2024, her original research article published in the Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry examined the relationship between disease severity and the mineral composition of saliva in children with MIH, contributing to the scientific literature in the field. She regularly attends national and international congresses, symposia and continuing professional education programs, applying current diagnostic and treatment approaches in her clinical practice.

Her clinical practice covers preventive pediatric dentistry, prevention and treatment of early childhood caries, primary and permanent tooth restorations, vital pulp and root canal treatments, stainless-steel and aesthetic pediatric crowns, and space maintainers for children and adolescents. Combining the experience she gained in Azerbaijan, Germany and Turkey, Dr. Ismayilova follows an evidence-based, ethical and patient-centered approach that aims to reduce children’s dental anxiety and help them build lifelong healthy oral habits.
