Laminate Veneers Cost in Turkey 2026: Price per Tooth and Small Cases of 1 to 10 Veneers

TL;DR

E-max laminate veneers are 280 to 400 EUR per tooth at our clinic and 8 to 10 veneers 2,250 to 4,000 EUR, against typically £700 to £1,500 per tooth privately in the UK. With flights and six hotel nights included, one veneer is not worth the trip, two is borderline, and from four the saving is clear. A single veneer is the hardest to match: whiten first, treat the pair where possible and allow a try-in. One trip of 5 to 7 days, written guarantee 5 years.

A laminate veneer costs 280 to 400 EUR per tooth in E-max at our clinic in Fethiye (about £240 to £340), against typically £700 to £1,500 per tooth privately in the UK, where the NHS does not provide veneers for appearance. Eight to ten veneers on the upper front teeth come to 2,250 to 4,000 EUR. For one or two veneers the flight usually cancels out the saving; from about four veneers the trip clearly pays for itself. This guide is about veneers counted per tooth and about small cases. If you are thinking of a complete smile of 16 to 20 teeth, our full set veneers guide covers that separately.

What a laminate veneer is, and what it is not

A laminate veneer is a thin ceramic shell bonded to the front surface of a tooth. At our clinic it is made from E-max, a lithium disilicate ceramic manufactured by Ivoclar, and it is typically 0.3 to 0.7 mm thick. In most quotes "laminate veneer", "porcelain veneer" and "E-max veneer" describe the same restoration. Three points matter more than the name:

  • Preparation. Most veneers need 0.3 to 0.7 mm removed from the front of the tooth so that the shell does not look bulky. This step is permanent: once enamel has been removed, that tooth will always need a veneer.

  • No-prep and minimal-prep veneers exist, but they suit only teeth that are small, set slightly back, or have gaps to close. On a normal-sized tooth a no-prep veneer adds thickness and looks heavy at the gum line, so we offer it only where the tooth shape allows.

  • Bonding to enamel. A veneer holds best when it is bonded to healthy enamel. A tooth with large fillings, a root canal or little enamel left is usually better served by a crown.

Composite veneers are the other option: tooth-coloured resin built up directly on the tooth in one session, with little or no drilling. They cost less and can be repaired, but they stain and chip sooner and typically last 5 to 7 years against 10 to 15 years for ceramic. We price composite at the assessment, because the cost depends on how many surfaces are involved. Our composite bonding guide and the porcelain vs composite veneers comparison explain the trade-off in detail.

Within our range, the price per tooth depends on the shade and layering the case needs, whether the tooth needs a full preparation or only minimal shaping, and whether a separate try-in of the unglazed veneer is planned. Your written quote is per tooth in EUR and does not change once it is agreed, unless the examination finds something the photographs could not show, such as decay under an old filling. On the NHS side, veneers placed to improve appearance are private treatment everywhere in the UK, so the honest comparison is always with private prices. Readers in Ireland can usually claim Med 2 relief at 20% on veneers as non-routine treatment, also for treatment abroad.

Travel is a fixed cost, so it weighs heavily on one or two teeth and hardly at all on eight. For a single chipped or discoloured tooth we would normally advise you to look at composite bonding with a dentist near home. For two veneers the result depends on your local quote: at £1,500 a veneer the trip pays, at £700 it barely does. From four veneers the saving is clear, and it grows with every tooth.

Why a single veneer is the hardest case

Making one veneer that matches the natural tooth beside it is more demanding than making eight that match each other. Ceramic and enamel reflect light differently, and the neighbouring tooth has its own translucency at the edge, its own surface texture and its own colour gradient from gum to tip. A single central incisor is regarded by most cosmetic dentists as one of the most difficult veneer cases. Three things improve the odds:

  • Whiten first, then choose the shade. Ceramic does not respond to whitening. If you want lighter teeth, whitening (150 to 400 EUR at our clinic) is done before the shade is taken, so the veneer is matched to your teeth after whitening, not before.

  • Treat the pair. When both front teeth are worn or uneven, two veneers usually look more natural than one, because they mirror each other.

  • Allow a try-in. The unglazed veneer is tried in daylight so that shade and edge translucency can still be adjusted before final firing. This is one reason we do not compress the visit into two or three days.

A single dark tooth after a root canal is a special case: it may need internal bleaching or a crown rather than a veneer, because the discolouration comes from inside the tooth.

Small cases: what usually makes sense

  • One chipped edge: composite bonding in one session, usually at home.

  • Two worn or discoloured front teeth: two veneers; whether the trip pays depends on your local quote.

  • A gap between the front teeth: two to four veneers or composite, depending on the size of the gap and the bite; aligners are worth considering if the teeth are otherwise healthy.

  • Four upper incisors: the classic small case for uneven length, wear or old composite that no longer matches.

  • Six veneers, canine to canine: the teeth that show in most smiles.

  • Eight to ten veneers: wider smiles in which the premolars show. Beyond this the case becomes a full smile makeover.

The number of veneers is decided from your photographs and the examination, not from a package. Many patients who ask about ten veneers are advised six plus whitening of the remaining teeth, which costs less and removes less enamel. Our digital smile design guide explains how the shape and the number of teeth are planned before anything is prepared.

When a crown is the better choice

A veneer is for a tooth that is structurally sound and needs a change of shape, shade or length. When more than about half the tooth is filling, when it has had a root canal, or when a back tooth carries heavy chewing load, a crown is the right restoration and a veneer would fail early. The reverse is also true: crowning a healthy front tooth for looks removes far more tooth than a veneer needs. The border cases are explained in our crown vs veneer guide.

The process: one trip of 5 to 7 days

  • Day 1: examination, X-ray, photographs, digital smile design, and agreement on shape and shade. Nothing irreversible happens on day one. Whitening, if planned, is done now.

  • Day 2: preparation of the teeth, digital scan and temporary veneers. You never leave with exposed prepared teeth.

  • Days 3 to 5: laboratory work. Your time is free.

  • Day 5 or 6: try-in of the unglazed veneers and any adjustment of shade or edge shape.

  • Day 6 or 7: final bonding, bite check and polishing.

For one to four veneers five days are often enough; for eight to ten we plan the full seven. Book the return flight for the day after the planned bonding rather than the same evening.

How long laminate veneers last, and what the guarantee covers

A well-made E-max veneer typically lasts 10 to 15 years, often longer with good hygiene and a night guard if you grind. Composite veneers typically last 5 to 7 years before they need polishing, repair or replacement. Our written guarantee on laminate and E-max veneers is 5 years: debonding, fracture or a material defect is remade at no charge. It does not cover trauma, grinding without the night guard we recommend, problems caused by neglected hygiene, work altered by another dentist, or the cost of flights. The full terms are in our guarantee guide.

Aftercare is simple: brush twice a day with a soft brush, clean between the teeth daily, avoid biting hard objects such as ice or nut shells with the front teeth, wear the night guard if one was recommended, and have a check-up and hygiene visit every six months wherever you live.

Who this is for, and who it is not for

It makes sense if you have four or more front teeth that are worn, chipped, discoloured beyond what whitening can change, or uneven in length, you have healthy gums, and you can take five to seven days. It also makes sense for two veneers when your local private quotes are at the upper end.

It does not make sense if you need a single veneer and can have it matched locally, your teeth are healthy and you only want them whiter (whitening first, see the whitening vs veneers comparison), you have untreated gum disease, you grind heavily and will not wear a night guard, or you are under about 21, when gums and bite may still be settling. We will tell you this at the assessment rather than sell you veneers you do not need.

How it works with us in Fethiye
